New Canadian AR Brake |||*|||

At the risk of starting some kind of flame war.....what is it like on a longer barrel like that of an XCR? I'm thinking running shots on Coyotes or hordes of attacking Gophers and being able to stay on target.

Just installed my new brake on my lmt 10.5. Looks great and cant wait to try it out. But holy fu$k was it tough to to screw it all the way on and properly index it against the washer! It is never coming off in this life time!

tested the crusader brake out for the first time today. i have it mounted on my 10.5 rifle. it works really well. there is no muzzle climb whatsoever. shooting off a mag i could rest it on my palm and it would stay pretty well on target. one thing is there is certainly no flash suppression. this brake blasts flames several feet out on either side. i was shooting in the indoor range and pretty sure I gave myself and the 3 other guys there concussions.

I also was trying the dlask pws knock off for the first time as well on my 16 inch rifle. the dlask didnt stay on target quite as well as the crusader brake but offered some flash suppression, nor was the finish as good.

overall they both worked great and you couldnt go wrong with either of them.

I had one on my 10.5 as well (just sold it) and on real short barreled AR's it is for sure a flame thrower. Much better on middy's and rifles. But we're still able to stay flat on any barrel length. I have never shot it indoors, and I suspect that firing inside of a bay would rattle your cage a bit.

As for the Parkerized ones, once this batch of stainless/Black Oxide ones are gone, we'll be switching material. We will still offer them in stainless because of US orders specifically requesting it.

I'd love to see some video or head by head comparison of this brake to others on the market.

Looks good,

But... 1940 called, they want their SVT-40 brake back :p

??? Looks nothing like a SVT-40 brake.. Acts nothing like it, in fact other than the SVT 'has' a brake.. and this rifle 'has' a brake.. and they're both made of 'metal'.. there are no similarities at all.

Thanks though.
