25-06 or 243 for varmints question

Maybe a .25WSM. Been thinking of making one of these myself. Barrel life may be short tho.
Possibly this is the ultimate 25? Is there anything out there any faster?

I went the 25-06 route just incase antelope come up on the menu. More punch at the longer ranges. Groundhogs become mere blood stains with winchester 90gr cxp1s and coyotes never here the shot. 243 is cheaper and less recoil. I also prefer the long action over the short. My 25 has lived up to every expectation and more

Not sure of the barrel life on the 257 WBY, I have about 500 through mine, so far so good but I don't super heat the barrel up. Pretty sure you could ruin it real quick if you did. Gets HOT after 3 shots.

NO flies on the 25/06 though, I shot 5 whitetail with mine and a 120gr Hornady HP @ 3000 fps. From 50 to 300 yards.
shot a coyote at 350 with that load too, HAMMERED him! Blew a 4" hole out the back of his neck. I shot him facing me :D
