Finally finished my Frankenstein AR15 build and I thought I should share it in its mixed parts glory. Its a Blue Line lower with a 16" Armalite upper. I used a CMMG parts kit along with a Tapco six position stock kit. Arms East charging handle and hand guards along with a Armalite bolt. It is in 5.56x45mm and apart from the ammo I was able to do the entire build for around $1100. I was using a Tapco 30 round mag that was pined to 5 rounds and for a polymer mag I thought it was pretty good. I was able to take it out shooting last night and for my first AR build and first time shooting the AR15 system I must say it won me over.
