help solve my problem

the fired case has around 15 to 20 bright circles around the case spaced out of the length of the case.

Do you mean rings? The circles go around the case?

Yikes. What the hell is up with that? Sounds like the chamber has been royally f'd up. Who chambered it? Did it come pre-chambered from McGowan? Did you buy it new from them?

If that is the case, I'd send it back. Sure you can clean up the chamber some, but if that is the quality that has gone into the barrel, what else is wrong with it? Is the throat cut right? Is the rifling cut right? What about the crown?

You shouldn't have to fix the barrel.

yes it goes around the case
yes the crown i thought looks like crap
yes the threads were a little bugger when they chamfered the um chamber end lost the word.
yes it was suppose to be a drop in and go have fun.
the rifleing to me seems very very close to the opening of the case neck i would guess .275 which is livable but nowhere close to my 260 shilen.
all work was completed to mcgowen

also forgot to include that the fired case has around 15 to 20 bright circles around the case spaced out of the length of the case. ill try lapping the chamber slighly later on

Ouch. It sounds like you have a chamber that has a wave to it. When the brass expands out into the deeper part of the wave, it would almost lock the brass in place and make it hard to remove.
