cruising the troy site and i find the T-22 chassis for the 10-22........ and it's just one of those things i must have

anyone got any news on this product or who in canada i can go thru to get one or 2? CQB services has not answered my queries in the dealer forum but i know they are very busy folks so may not be monitoring cgn full time.

so.... has anyone seen it.... tried it...... know who can get me one??

Both Troy and nea looks neat. Too bad I'm building a miniature socom ( got all the parts, utg quad rail, m14 butt plate to intergrade to the stock and m14 style flash hider, now waiting fr my 10/22 to arrive)

But I think the Troy is a better deal. Comes with hand guard and stock for 300 bucks where as the nea only comes with the body. Stuff like this makes me wanna buy another 10/22

I never really like the SR's body. One thing that bugs me the most is the buffer tube is higher than the barrel. Really looks odd and makes the top rail too high above the barrel.

The NEA is cool..... and no offense to it's makers as i might get one of thiers too but I MUST HAVE THE TROY LOL :D :D

still no response from anyone who can get me one....... I'm gonna email troy tomorrow

NEA manufactors stuff for TROY hense why if anyone can get there products in Canada I would believe that they most certainly can. But now for the bad news;

This is not released yet in the US market so I am afraid you will have to wait a little longer.

who ever carries this, they would make some good money . itd sell like crazy even with the 300 price tag (the G36 kit cost 220 and its plastic) .T-22 looks much better than factory SR22 platform, and already has the top rail so you dont need to get rip off by ruger to get their rail set. friend just spend 800 on and SR with factory rails. to me that's a little ridiculous for a .22 that performs like any 10/22.

there goes Satain again..... bursting my bubble hehehe :D
fine..... I'll patiently await it arriving in canada sometime next year LOL

That is a very nice setup, and would definitely find a home in my collection.

On another note, what the SR needs is for someone to design a replacement top piece for the receiver shell that sits lower like the TROY one, that lines up better with after market hand guards. I love my SR but I still think the top rail is too high. :D

Or ... if Troy could make a shorter hand guard & top rail like the one on their kit that is compatible with the current Nordic lower receiver .. with built in sights ;)

Will Troy be making the handguard/rail in one length only?

A 7.5" hand guard would be nice for those with 12" barrels, and some screw holes as well for attaching rails to the side and bottom of the tube as well.

From the looks of the pictures on their website, there are none.

No matter how awesome the stock look and all the cool expensive after market stuff you can put on these they all still look like S%*t with those damn banana clips. H:S:

Meh, get over it, just enjoy shooting the rifle.
That being said I wouldn't stand for bananas on my centerfires, but that's a different story.
They don't bother me a bit on my 22's

It comes with quad rails now. This one looks much better that the SR-22 stock, and it comes with quality flip up sights.

this will kill the sr22...250 base 10/22 + 300 for the kit=550 already with full rails and filp up and brands a troy name. hope ruger adopts it as the next sr.
