Browning Model M78 in 25.06

Hi guys,

A buddy of mine called me today to ask if I knew anything about the M78 single shot but unfortunately, I don't.

Does anyone know what ballpark pricing would be on this gun in 25.06?

They are a B-78 and I just sold a very nice one for $1,000.00.

I have a set of Browning bases and rings for that particular rifle if that becomes an issue.

In the latest issue of Handloader magazine (issue 270) they say the Browning B78 is BACK! They test one in 223 Rem. Doesn't say what other calibers it is offered in though. Nice looking rifle.

The newest b78 is called a sporter... has a shorter barrel, different finish, and slightly different trigger that the originals.
