G36 10/22 stock at Shot Show

Does anyone know what length the barrel is on the display model?

The weapon you checked out at the show had a youth model length barrel with the flash hider (included) installed. The standard length barrel will also fit the faux suppressor that is included with the kit. The kit includes an extended magazine release, and a improved bolt stop.

Also... Ive been doing the math..

Package says 28.375" with 18.5" barrel.....

Youth/Compact/Carbine barrels are usually 16.125 or 16 1/8"

28.375(OAL with 18.5 barrel) - 2.375 (difference between 18.5 and 16.125) = 26"

Someone would have to install and measure to confirm, but Im thinking this kit with a Youth/Carbine/Compact barrel (like shown at the SHOT show) would be the smallest config. you could go for to stay non-restricted.

I have been known to screw up math though! :D

After a comment from Jerry @ Mystic, thought I should edit.... This is only a guess based on MY math. No guarantees this is a for sure non-res. configuration. Like Jerry mentioned, do you really want to be that close to the long arm of the law! :D

Display rifle had the orig factory barrel of 18 1/2"

Remember that most barrels will have a recessed muzzle. The ones I offer certainly will.

The barrel length is to where the rifling ends....

An 1/8 or even 1/2" longer so you just dont need to have that debate with the men in blue....

If you will pin the stock, I can supply pretty much any length of pipe you want but it looks like a 12" is going to look pretty stubby BUT that is also one of the real work G36 models.

What would be the interest in getting HK style flash hiders?????

Obviously you would need a threaded barrel but there are now a few on the Cdn landscape

All my 10/22 barrels can be threaded and even fluted. I will have a tactical contour (0.750" no taper) allowing you to hang AR gas blocks if you want to add more bling to a build.

An Archangel carbine would look pretty good with a gas block and fake tube.

Let me know

Have you any photo of those barrels,or it's a product for a near futur ?

The first prototypes are in the works now. I was hoping to have them finished in time for the kits release.

But simple enough to visualise. The root is the same as any other 10/22 barrel and 0.920" in diameter to fit all available stocks.

This will go for around 2 to 2.5" in front of the receiver, quickly taper to 0.750" and then straight to the muzzle.

Any length of barrel can then be speced with little changes in production. Muzzle is threaded with a 1/2X28 thread so all common attachments will go on.

Nice looking forward to those barrel !

May i suggest something ??

Would you made M4 replica barrel for the 10/22 like brownells did ??

I looked at that but most of my enquiries were for short rather then long barrels.

12" and shorter has been what people have asked for. At those lengths, the barrel is hidden in the forend and these profiles would not work.

If there is interest for 14.5" or 15" or whatever scaled to fit the M4 look, I can certainly consider making this profile. But there has to be some interest.

the front sight comes off easy?

With a punch tool,i would'nt say easy but not hard.I did it on my stock 10/22 barrel.
