What's your coyote gun? (And what terrain)

I use a Marlin bolt action 22wmr with a bushnell 3-9x40 and a harris bi-pod. Cheap little rig but she does the trick. I hunt a small 10 acre corn feild...longest shot would be about 140 yards. I have several stand locations depending on wind direction, and I bait pretty much every time I go out.

I'm currently using a .22-243 Middlestead in Remington 700 action/Lilja barrel. When loading 69 gr. Lapua Scenars it's throwing em at 3658 fps and into a half inch at 100 yards. I like the trajectory for the prairies especially with the amount of snow we have this year. It's getting harder and harder to get around to call so I'm forced to hunt fields from the truck.

My 7mm-08, with a few touches, it works on coyotes, deers, pretty much anything out there. It's like a Leatherman, does almost anything. ;)

I'm in Sask, that speaks for itself regarding terrain!!

savage edge in .223. black on black with a bushnell banner 4-16x40 with illuminated scope.
the illumination is basically useless i think.
terrain is flat, fields mostly, or dogging in a bush.

Azazle, where did you get that camo wrap? Homemade?

Camo Form Gun Wrap from Cabelas

Just don't wrap it tight enough to force the barrel to move towards the stock!! It was given to me for Christmas and my parents compared me to the 'child who plays with the box the toy came in'. I spent more time with $40 worth of camo wrap than anything the entire day. I ran to the shop to grab my STW to wrap up before I finished opening anything else. I was being rushed so the job didn't turn out quite as well as I would have liked but you can just unwrap it and try again!

25-06 stevens 200 with a harris bipod uncle mikes sling quick detach swivels and a 6-24x44ao barska scope for field hunting coyotes and clearcut hunting wolves in northern ontario. Shotgun for bush hunting 3" #4 buck for a mossberg 535ats or baikal ij58

This winter its a Tikka T3 Lite Camo Stainless in .22-250, with a Nikon Coyote 4.5-14x scope. (Backups are a Tikka T3 Lite Stainless in .223 and a CZ 527 American in .204 Ruger).

The terrain is mixed, depending on where you live or where you are prepared to go, ranging from open barrens to thick woods and everything in between, but not much of it flat and with very little farmland.
