Nice job on the stock. Do you do custom work. I am building a rifle and putting a tactical stock on it but also would like a laminate one for dressing her up for show. Have been searching for someone who can build one for me.

How have your guys' guns been doing for pelt damage? I'm going to start up next winter and am going with a 22-250 most likely... looking to prep the pelts for the nafa auction.
with my .22-250 I was shooting 55g winchester ballistic tips and I wasn't getting an exit with most shots. Was quite happy with it, but all shots where past 150 yards.
I have a couple spots I like for calling with good shade and field of view when I call. If a cow or calf dies I just drop it where ever and drive by at dawn, in the tractor (they run when they hear a truck but not a tractor). I have a Tikka T3 .223 with the 4200 6-24x40 scope. For me, there is 3 months of big game, 2 months gopher and 7 months of coyote shooting. Always something to be out after!
I mostly hunt clearcuts and places I can set the bait 200 yards away so I have a chance of getting a shot if they are at the bait when I arrive. They frequent the thick woods here though but getting a shot in such a spot would be tough.
Using this for coyotes now, Savage 10 xp in .223
I have a mini phantom with speaker but I find it is not loud enough and sounds cheap. I prefer reed calls, start with dying rabbit and may add some yips later on. I don't usually call over bait.
Tikka stainless - 22 -250 in fields where I have 300+ yards, if it is a smaller field I sometimes take out the Tavor. Never get a field over 600 yards in our area.
