Yup, if you only knew back then what we know know? In some ways its depressing, others not so bad. I remember being in Milarm in 1980 when they opened a crate of Chilean mausers. They wanted 25 bucks a piece. Never fired, never issued.

On the other side of the coin, looking at the M44 carbines, we can still get them for under 200 bucks in several places, all in the same condition. SO for 20 years time, they haven't gone up near to the amounts of gas, booze, smokes, ammo, ect.

A lot of these prices reflect what is collectible. Russian Mosins, SVT-40, and SKS are dirt cheap because the market is flooded. When that dries up, you will see the price go up. There is no shortage of Lee Enfeilds, the price went up when there are no more newer ones coming into the market place.

I think the majority of CGNers were still in elementary school when that catalog came out :D

International Firearms AKA Century Arms still operating in the USA. With Headquarters in Boca Raton, Florida and main warehouse in Georgia, Vermont.

Judging by the fonts, layout and prices it is post 1990 (computer layout). I would guess mid-late 90's

I still have that catalog, its the 1994 edition:)

Ha! I was going to say somewhere around 1993/1994 because I used to have that catalogue.:)

I remember that hot chick they used as a model too.:D

If it were a few years earlier, there would have likely been semi-auto AK-47's for dirt cheap and unrestricted.

I was in my early twenties then and had just gotten my F.A.C. in 1987.

I only wish that I had more money then and knew what to stock up on.:(

At least I see that the Mausers I remember being inexpensive weren't in the greatest condition.

I've dreaded that I might have passed up buying mint condition 1935 Mausers (for bargain basement prices) when I think back to that catalogue.

I remember these guys.
Still have a couple of catalogues around.
And a Springfield 03A1 they sold me.
Sad day when they had to leave the Country.
