is there a mailorder company that will ship reloading supplies and equipment to canada, or a canadian outfit that has good prices?

i'm looking for a few sets of dies, shell holders, case trimmer...

i would imagine it best to source things like bullets locally because of weight, right? powder and primers i have no choice.

"...best to source things like bullets locally..." Yep. Shipping bullets will hurt. Primers and powder requires Hazmat fees, as I recall.
From the U.S., equipment is ok, but no components without the export permit.
 
I also recommend Factory Sales in Wisconsin for Lee equipment.
Sinclair International for other brands.

Powder and such you may want to try locally or Higginson Powder in Hawkesbury near Ottawa (for larger orders).
 
I just got my order from Sinclair International. Fairly fast shipping (7days) I may have chose the wrong shipping though cause it cost me a fortune. I got dinged for a handling fee and Canada Post fee when I got my package at the post office. That's on top of Sinclairs shipping fees.
 
Although Factory Sales for Lee stuff has about the same prices, I like Titan Reloading because you get your tracking number literally within a few hours at most after submitting your order, and they offer standard parcel which surprisingly gets to my door in Ottawa within 4 days. It's the cheapest shipping I've ever seen offered before from the USA. They also don't "inflate" the value of your order so that you pay either no or minimal GST/HST when your order arrives via USPS/Canada Post.
 
Factory Sales ships United States Postal Service to Canada. Most orders are 7 days to Ontario for me. (order on the 10th get it on the 16th-18th)

If Customs taxes it (last order had no duty collected), it will be HST (or whatever is charged in your province) on the value plus $5 fee. example:

$104 order $30 Shipping $13 HST $5 Customs fee = $150 to your door



Factory Sales has stated the actual sale price/value on the Customs declaration, no inflation. I have recieved my tracking info when the package ships as well.

Sinclair used USPS as well for me, same deal with Customs HST +$5
 
Just avoid any American vendor, especially those on eBay, that ship UPS. I did that mistake once. I think UPS wanted $140 for a $70 item I ordered cause they wanted $50 brokerage fee plus GST/PST at the time. I was so angry I said F.I. and left them with the parcel just out of spite.

It still makes me angry just thinking about it suddenly today!:ar15:

Do not buy anything from the states that will only ship UPS or FedEx as Skyhawk says. They both charge a huge brokerage fee plus the gst on top of that. USPS is the only way to go.
 
I just got a bunch of powder from Higginsons. Way cheaper than buying it at Bass Pro, BP was $39 a pound and Higginson was $28. I think shipping was $20.
