Norinco 213 9mm mags

Any hope of getting them in the near futur?

I would take a couple right away, I don't want to take the modified route...

Mags for the 213 can be hard to find. The 213 uses a spacer in the grip and a narrower mag than most Tokarev mags. I've been told you can remove the spacer and then use the readily available wider mags. I prefer not to modify my 213 and was lucky to find a couple at a gunshow. I would be interested in a few more though.

Correct.

You can easily remove the spacer, or put it back in if you changed your mind. It's only held by a pin and it's very easily taken in or out.

The only catch to removing the spacer is then you can't use the original mags until it's put back in. So it's either an all or nothing sort of deal.

On the 213 the wider mags with the built in spacer need to have a small notch filed into the back face up top where the spine on the firing pin housing hits the magazine. It's not a big deal but if you don't do it the gun will tend to slide lock back for reasons that make no sense.

Here's a picture of what I did with the wider mags that Lever Arms here in Vancouver was selling.

They may well still have some and it would be worth asking. The key is you'd have to buy a bunch of them. But then you could sell your original stock mags which were replaced by two of the new ones.
