Should Dictatorships be allowed to be members of IPSC?

I wasn't asking you about the idiom, but what you're referring to with that idiom, but you choose a rude reply instead of explaining your comment.

Is it just me, or you actually insulted all Canadians, including those like Slavex who travel all around the world and compete at the international matches? Should I also remind you that one of those local guys currently runs IPSC world body?

From what I can tell, everybody likes Mr. Slavex, but not you so much. Ha! Also from what I can tell, everybody likes Mr. Alexakos, except for a few people here (legends in their own mind), who say he has no integrity but they don't have the courage to run against him, only excuses.

As for GV, that site is no use to all banned members (because this is the only argument your friend Vince is capable of when he loses a point at a regular discussion).

Instead of apologizing for your error you kept on arguing and you made everybody angry, not just Vinny.


@everybody: there's a thread at the GV about a gun referendum in Switzerland. The thread has a link to a German(?) newspaper and that has an interesting story about the world's most famous dictators.

I have nothing to apologize really. My point was that said USPSA shooters hardly shooting IPSC, due to the difference between USPSA and IPSC. I've tried to pointed out that USPSA is not a subset of IPSC and people who posted there, including Americans didn't had their facts straight, e.g. being IPSC member you can't shoot USPSA-sanctioned matches. You can, however shoot IPSC-sanctioned matches in US, but there is hardly any IPSC matches run on US land, hence my point about USPSA shooters not making any credit to IPSC organization. Perhaps you can inform Vince about these facts, so next time he won't ban someone else just for trying to explain him this situation.

Just cause you disagree with a person or country's politics does not mean you are RIGHT and they are WRONG.. Just cause you are in the majority does not give you are right to say that they are wrong and cannot participate..

Keep the politics and other crap out of it.. Shoot what you want to, and stop feeling you have a right to judge someone else qualification to shoot.

I used to leave in country like that. We all supposed to be equal, but there were more equal, most equal and the top equal.
If country which doesn't promote free state or democracy allow access to sport like IPSC, the only guys who are benefiting in this are your enemies, police and army spec. ops. They are trained to be good against hypothetical attack from one of those free nations.
When I was in high school we had to learn how to shoot rifle, throw a grenade use a gas mask, understand basics of human mine, recognize army ranks of soviet soldiers etc....

I don't need to know more then Vinni about USPSA to tell when he is wrong. Unlike Vinni and most of American shooters I am shooting both IPSC and USPSA matches and been unfortunately exposed to their differences, and have email correspondence to USPSA staff to back me up.

Interestingly, in my second and permanent ban Vince even admitted himself my rightness by accepting the change of wording for the rule been discussed. Of course he also called me names in public and banned me after I pointed out he is in violation of his own forum rules.

Anyways, you really should use your own judgement about people, rather then using someones words.

I'm still waiting for you to tell us what you know about the election of Mr. Alexakos after you hinted you knew something. Were you present at that particular AGM? What year was it? Who were the candidates? Where were they from? How many votes did each get? Was there a run-off vote?

I only suggested you might want to hear straight from the horses mouth, so to speak, what it takes to be elected president of IPSC before dumping on someone completely outside your ken.
