I was wondering what powder and loads do you ljungmann/hakim owners use in your rifles.

I understand that slower burning powders may cause the rifle to rip the rim off the case, and worse, ruin the extractor.

Any help in this area would be appreciated...

I have an AG-42B in 6.5x55mm, which is the daddy to the Hakim. I tend to load using IMR 4064. I load up from the minimum until the action reliably extracts and ejects the spent brass. My particular rifle likes around 37 grains.

I' not sure about the Hakim, but I'd stay away from anything slower than IMR 4895.

X2. medium burning powders like H/IMR4895, IMR4064, and maybe IMR4320.
