CZ 858 Disassembly Question

The bolt assembly should just slide out. I had a look at my 858 and the screw is not visible so my guess would be the screw is in the way.
When the new stock was put on it was probably turned too far in. See if you can back it out a bit.

.......and shorten the stock screw so you don't have to do that next time you want to strip your rifle.
some thing is wrong, the screw shouldnt come out that far .
probably inside the stock there must be some breakage (maybe from over tightening ) .
can you post pic of the underside of the stock that touches the back end of the receiver , you might have to do some surgery .

Its the screw for the skeleton stock. I had a similar problem when I installed one years ago. It tightens from inside the receiver with an allen key if I'm not mistaken. Whoever installed it tightened it wrong. Not sure how he got the carrier on. Just unscrew the bolt from the inside of the receiver and play around with tightening it making sure it doesn't protrude but the stock is still secure.
