Hello, i came here to ask you about my 1914 Norwegian Krag Jorgensen. It has a mark on it which i can't take of photo (####ty camera), it looks like this:

My question is, does this make this rifle any more valuable? Before you ask, it's a Sporter with a scope mount taped and everything, so i know its not worth much, but what is the value of it?

Those are not German "Stomperud" markings, which were placed on a couple of thousand Krags manufactured in German occupied Norway.

I'd say the markings are either faked, or are something else that you have misread.

I did think it was suspicious, but it really has a swastika on it. Can't find any information online.

The Stomperud Krag I had only had the dirty bird on it, and the correct serial number. I have no idea what that is? And if the rifle has been sporterized it's worth the same as the rest.

I have those EXACT markings on a sporterized Krag...

I assumed it was a captured Krag, or perhaps a POW camp guard rifle.

Maybe Sergeant Schultz or Colonel Klink can shed some light on it??? ;)
