Boyds Tacticool

I ordered a Boyds stock back at the beginning of December and I received it a couple of weeks ago. After fitting my Savage 93r17 I realized that since I had a synthetic stock I would need a trigger guard. I was having trouble finding the exact parts that would be needed since they would have to match the inletting on the boyds stock. I called Savage and told them what stock I had bought, they knew what I needed and sent it off to me. So to make a long story short the parts you need if you by a tacticool stock is:
Part # 100264 Qty 1
105757 Qty 1

You also could use a different bottom metal but the old one is easily modified. I hope this helps anyone that is trying to do the same swap.

Anybody got a part number for the bottom metal around the mag and screw that it needs? Looks like this is the trigger gaurd and screw only.

Just did the same on my 93FV in 22WMR ...parts took a couple weeks to get here from Savage.The bolts to hold the original stock will work on the Tacticool , you need the trigger guard and bottom metal as well as one allen more bolt and a phillips head screw
