Can you size a bullet on a lyman lubrisizer .010" or more in one go? Would pure lead bullets help?
 
I’ve never tried to resize down that much in one go but it may work for soft lead.
Ask yourself “but where does all the lead go” since the sizer doesn’t cut the lead off but rather swage it.
I would examine and measure the first few bullets very carefully before and after sizing just to find out and see if they became a bit longer or any other changes.
Would be interesting.

You could do it in 5 thou steps but the end result will be long bullets and a much smaller lube grooves..... maybe not enough space for lube to stop leading from happening.
 
I brought .459 ww 410 grain bullets down to .446(when I was desperate for 11mm Mauser bullets) . I lubed at .459(to fill grooves), then sized in .452, then down to .446. Some elongation, grease groove seemed ok, but I didn't need benchrest accuracy. Good luck

Very doubtful - you'd break something. Even in two goes, it would be a stretch (no pun intended). A Lee push-through will do it, and after sizing you can then pass it through the Lyman for lubing. I've sized jacketed down 10 thou in two passes through Lee dies.

I've done the exact same thing. It can work, but you lose lube capacity, and also effectively change the profile of the bullet more than just lengthening it - the "bore riding" portion is now substantially engaged with the rifling, exacerbating the lube shortage issue (there is now additional unlubed bearing surface). You'll also then need to seat it quite a bit deeper, and that affects your loads.
