My first AR15 build is now complete.

After a few months of waiting for parts to appear and some shipping problems it is done. Not 100% sure I like the ERGO, but I will know once I make it to the range. Possibly change the flashider in the future too.

Magpul CTR stock, Midwest Industries MCTAR-FFR folding front sight, ARMS#40 BUIS, Midwest Industries MCTAR-24 10" freefloat handguard.

I was actually shipped the wrong front sight, the one in the pic is the MCTAR-FFG which is the gas block model and hence taller than it should be. I only realized this after I got it all set up... one look at the box the sight came in gave me the answer. Now I wait for the new one to arrive. :(

Where did you get that Midwest freefloat handguard and how much?? I love it!

Nice HK! How do you like the setup with the Elcan Spectre? (I've been thinking about moving to that on mine).

You can't go wrong with the Specter DR, I'm putting the 1.5-6X 7.62 on my RFB.. It expensive but worth it. But you should be able to afford one just based on what I've purchased from you in the past year!!:D

I can't wait for my H&K gas block flip up iron to finish this rifle off: hint hint

Nice rig, very slick

What was the final price tag?
How is the balance?

Thanks! While the scope adds a bit of weight it balances real nice with the short bbl. Total cost came in around $3500, as pictured...but its never final when it comes to AR's. EE's your friend for accessories....

First AR, crappy pic. Nothing really fancy, I'll replace the Operator stock with an A2 as soon as my bench is up. Really satisfied with the rifle so far, I'm a poor shot and I've had one decent sub-moa 4 round group so far. Shot regular moa groups today but I really need practice :p

Thanks to Questar for this baby!

you don,t know how bad i want this now...

i can't help but notice that you have safe, fire, AND full auto option...? is this a full auto AR?

and if i may ask, whats the suppressor-looking thing? don't hate me, i'm a newbie to this.

Hi, no not a full auto....wouldn't that be nice!
The "suppressor" is designed to throw the blast/noise forward. On a short bbl, your shooting partner's next to you will appreciate it. Also, it's function is to assist in blowing back some of the gases to help cycle the next round.
BTW....the top Troy rail cover has been removed since the photo. Made room for a new set of Troy flip-up BUIS.
Just needs a nice stock...with cheek-weld. Sopmod, Vltor, RRA Operator, etc. Then I'm done...
