Remington .338, any users?

.338LM is nice providing you have the distance to really enjoy it. Shooting standard 100m ranges is like putting your d*ck only half way in! :adult:

I have a Rem 700P in .338LM and I love it. Put about 100 rounds last year downrange and it is very accurate.

Thx for the feedback! It needs to be worked a bit but I really like the action. Instead of getting a long term custom it would be nice to start firing rounds this summer rather than wait till next.
Only thing is I did not want to get the entire gun if it was still a sad barrel.

*edit* I'd you read any of my other post, even with a .308 I think 100m is just as usefull as chucking ur ammo out the truck window.
 
I have now taken mine to 300 meters with good results.

For the money, you can not beat it. It is the most cost effective .338 Lapua money can buy.

That said, I now have a Desert Tactical Arms in .338 Lapua with a .308 conversion in the mail from Target Sports.

That will give me a good yardstick to compare it with.
