waiting for my hp9 to arrive. according to canada post it was shipped on tuesday and they said it was supposed to arrive friday, friday came and went, canada post site says its been processed, i figured today was a no go being family day but mail still arrived today, and with it no shotgun. getting a little itchy to play with it. anyone else hate waiting? lol

yeah the mail man better not be playing with my shotgun somewhere. i do love how up to date their website is, ive had items show up and a week later an email comes in telling me my order has been delivered

Waiting for a certain package is like watching water boil! Its been my experience that tuesdays is much better than mondays for "specialty" packages. Not sure why that is, but its usually the case.

Lol well if it isn't in tomorrow im gonna have some withdrawl type issues. Although in the past fridays have been good for me. I guess it wouldn't be as bad if the website was updated better

i guess i have been very lucky, everything arrives 1 day ahead of schedule. I know that if it arrives at the richmond depot before noon, i get in the next morning

Not a shot gun per se, however I shipped via Canada Post something to a member here on the 13th, and the delivery date was supposed to be this past 17th.

It still has not arrived. Even though I was the one selling, the anticipation of something arriving safely and in one piece is just as bad.

Enjoy the shotty when it arrives.

agreed i shipped an xbox and xbox hd player and it was late getting there, same thing. the only good thing thats happened was that i had a turbo manifold for one of my past cars go missing in the mail, 3 months later they paid out the amount that i paid for it, a while after that it arrived and i pocketed the money and the kept the manifold. :D

maybe they put a rush on it cause they were feeling saucy, not likely. although if this gun arrives like my last one did i fully expect the barrel to be sticking out of the box again.

The website says its here and out for delivery. so either they're waking up my fiance who works midnights or i pick it up after work. Either way pics will be up tonight :D

When my HP9 came in, it was Friday - a delivery attempt notice was left on my door. I went to the post office to pick it up as directed, and they didn't have it - their tracking said it had been delivered and SIGNED FOR  ...it did eventually end up at the post office the following Monday, but in general my experience with Canada Post has been awful. They've delivered signature-only items to the wrong house on my street at least twice without getting anyone's signature, and in my paintball days they neglected to ship an Express package from Yellowknife for three weeks because, quote, "someone put a towel over the box".

Ugh.

I'm starting to really hate waiting. I got a hard on for a pistol in September, I had no pal so I started the process at that time. I got my lisence this week, I figured I could run out and start buying. Then Iearn the CFO won't approve a restricted transfer if I'm not a member of a club! So I look into it and getting into a club is easier said than done, there are waiting lists and clubs only seem to take new members every few months. That's great, then the clubs want you to shoot for up to ten supervised visits before they will endorse your ATT. Then I hear it takes several weeks for a restricted transfer to take place. At this rate my short attention span will have made me lose interest and I'll have moved on to another hobby by the time the powers that be allow me to have a pistol. maybe I should get a shotgun...
Rant over.

its a pain in the ass to get a restricted and play with it. ive got my rpal and a handgun and dont belong to a club. tell them youre planning on joining a range and make sure you name it. thats all i did and had no issues. as for joining a range, its complete bull####, they choose if they want you to be there, i idnt realize ranges were making that much money that they could turn away customers, then again they have the safety rules so that some complete ####tard doesnt go and shoot himself or someone else in the process.
a little update, shes here, shes pretty, and ready to go, cant wait to hit the range this weekend :D
