I'm looking for some feedback & range reports on the Surplus .308 Win ammo I've been selling.
Any FTF's? How is the accuracy? How does it feed in M14's?
Any info would be appreciated.:D
Thanks.
Regards, Henry

The new manufactured steel case MFS .308 I bought from Henry worked just fine, 100 rounds cycled my Chinese M-14 perfectly. I'm not sure about raw accuracy, because the trigger is still heavy/gritty/new, was concentrating on groupings/zeroing. But... at the end of the day, fired 5 shots at the steel plate 200m away, with Chinese iron sights, got 3 solid hits, with witnesses...so obviously it works pretty decent!

I think this ammo is different though from the Czech surplus mentioned. I just thought I'd mention it since Henry sells it and I tried it out.

Is this legal?

In Ontario is it's legal. It's also about shot placement. FMJ does the same damage as soft point ammo. And if your thinking that FMJ will just pass through and not deform
your wrong, I've seen 270 win pass right through a deer with just a clean hole.

Many deer have fallen to the IVI 5.56 NATO 62gr FMJ ammo in Ontario. :)
Ethical or not, the deer are dead and long been eaten.

Henry,
I've shot some lots of that ammo years ago and it groups around 3-4" at 100yds with irons and no problem feeding/extracting in my Norc M14.
