Would anyone recommend a any stock setup sold on

for my SKS and if so which one. I'm thinking the T6 with bayonet cut.

Also which extended mag would be recommended?

For extended mag go with Tapco 5/20 from Fabsports, sponsor at the top of the page. They work flawlessly. Even at -25C.

A T6 stock is a fitting stock for a SKS. There's no point in paying 3 times the price of the rifle for a stock. It's pistol gripped, it has rails. I have one for my 10/22, I love it. Fabsports sells that too.

And no, I don't work for Fabsports:)
 
The T6 stocks are great! adjusting length of pull for different shooters, pistol grip etc. I always found the issue SKS stocks too short! Not sure how much value is in the extended mags since they're still pinned to 5 rounds. Purely cosmetic I suspect unlike the T6 stock which actually does have performance enhancing features.
 
Yes the extended mags are just cosmetic:evil: unless the zombies get loose from the farm.:eek:

I noticed some of the stocks have a Picatinny rail on the handguard, is it too far forward to be useful as a scope mount?

I love my T6 stock but I hate the Pic rail built into the hand guard. Personally I think it's useless and I find it actually interferes with using iron sights. I replaced mine with a ventilated steel hand guard that looks great and doesn't obstruct the iron sights. see w w w .sksman.com ;)
As far as mounting a scope goes .......... CHOATE!!! Don't waste your time with the receiver cover mounts. they won't be stable enough to hold zero. At least that's been my experience!

You farm zombies? That's awesome! They'll come in handy if 2012 is a dud.
 
Fabsports seems to be out of SKS mags for now. I heard through the grapevine(french forum) that he's getting another batch in a few weeks.
