Edmonton Winter Service Rifle match

Just got back from the range, -13 not too bad but the wind was howling and it was blowing snow. Had to reduce ranges from 200 and 300m to 200 and 100m for matches 1-8. It was a ton of fun and Dave O brought some great prizes for the guys including some custom engraved dog-tags as giveaways.

Unfortunately, no pictures as my camera crapped out.

Next shoot will be end March - same basic format depending on the snow conditions.

Some pics from our first Winter SR match in January.

Looks like a blast - It would be nice if we could get a contingent together to come up for your next match toward the end of March.

Good fun but the range is pretty exposed as you can see, march may be better weather. The lack of butts is a drag, we may use the Automatic system at some point but we are not fans of it either.

I'll post details on March's shoot when I get them organized.

Had alot of fun on the shoot this sunday fingers are still thawing out. Would of been nice to see some more M14's out though just saying. Would love to come out end march but knee surgery 3 days prior so won't be able to get out shooting till may or june.

bah! knee surgery, how much could that hurt? We may have to take back the Full-bore He-man award! ;):p

I'd be happy to come out and shoot crutches might slow me down a bit on the run down. Also not to sure if your going to want me shooting on percocet although I would probualy be very relaxed.
