I'm going to be in the US for a week and was hoping to do some shopping. Can I bring back a stock for my M14? What are the restrictions on ammunition and reloading components like brass and projectiles?

basically any thing liek stock, mags, optics, u cant bring back..

depending on what reloading gear your after you might get lucky, since they are sold as "tools" not fire arms parts... that being said you will be hard pressed to find a store that will sell things to you. any where close to the border they will want to see some kind of proof of residency. hell my parents just went down threw the states and i asked to see if they could find a double sided gun case for me... plenty of them down there, but stores wouldnt even sell them to canadians.. thats right glorified suit cases wont be sold to canadians

long story short, export from the US is illegal but import to canada isnt..

.22 with subsonic ammunition, whith you ghille suit and internet sniper training the bear wont stand a chance

No I think I am going to get my ATC and carry my Glock 17! I go camping a lot so I should get my ATC cuz there are black bears everwhere I go camping in the far North deep woods in Muskoka Ontario.

Sorry OP just havin a little fun with ya. But as others have said there is pretty much no export allowed for gun stuff except reloading equipment but not supplies.

It sucks big time as I am litteraly 5 minutes from the border. I get pissed all the time at some of the deals I see but cant take advantage of.

Sorry.

if u go to www.cbsa.gc.ca they will tell u everything u want to know. Like u can bring 5000 rounds of ammunition, powder and other stuff if it is for personal use.

Sure you can.....

But the US of A will not allow you to do this

Please reread the regulations, and not only the Canadian ones, but the US ones as well

and why reply to a thread that is now over 2 weeks old....and with the wrong info at that
