I shaved down mine a few mm in order to make it a little more deliberate in operation. It's not quite flush with the receiver, but it doesn't stick out to the 'gates' on the mag release pre-modification.

On page 24 of Brownell's catalog #63 in the third column from the left, second item from the top is a DPMS tactical bolt release for $13.99 (dealer price $6.99US) that works with the redi mag. I found that I have to grind or file off a corner of the release, but then it replaces the original bolt release, and makes it really easy to operate the bolt release with a redi-mag installed.
