Redi-Mag

The BAD is a neat idea but has been a POS in my experience. It is always engaging or disengaging at the wrong time.

I shaved down mine a few mm in order to make it a little more deliberate in operation. It's not quite flush with the receiver, but it doesn't stick out to the 'gates' on the mag release pre-modification.

On page 24 of Brownell's catalog #63 in the third column from the left, second item from the top is a DPMS tactical bolt release for $13.99 (dealer price $6.99US) that works with the redi mag. I found that I have to grind or file off a corner of the release, but then it replaces the original bolt release, and makes it really easy to operate the bolt release with a redi-mag installed. Item #231-000-027AD AR15 Tact Bolt Release 1C06D99 $13.99US.

Note how the dealer price is hidden in the code before the retail price listing (1C06D99). That will help you find out what dealer prices are on items in the catalog.
