Now i wait to get my repro mount and scope, then i will see how the setup will perform. :)

I finally got my repro mount, ukrainian made supposedly. The mount is cast, look good and fit nicely, no need to use maillet to slide on the rail however,i had to file the front ring so slightly so the ring could close without excessive force. Since the scope and mount are repro fitting maybe needed but not a big deal. I read on a russian forum that it may be a good idea to shim the spring on the mount, the pring that keep the tension on the little plunger at the rear of the mount, shimming allow a stronger preload of the spring so the mount should be even more secure. maybe i will shim before test firing, anyway i cant go at the range now,i have to wait for the snow to go away unless i can find another spot for now. I'm still searching for an original mount but with the repro, i will have an idea how the rifle perform with optic.
