Good morning.

I would like to know what is the best brand of AR-15 1x9 twist 14.5 po M4 profile ,chrome lined barrel on the market in Canada? Where to find it?

Thanks! DESERTFOX

Best for what? accuracy? durability? cost? availability?

No one can agree on a brand of match rifle barrel let alone mass produced disposable barrels for common blasters.

Chrome linned barrels are supposed to last longer.
M4 feed ramp are supposed to give you less feeding issue's.

Skip chrome lining, the M203 cut (unless of course you have one to strap on...) and M4 feed ramps and open yourself up instead to a quality mid-length barrel from a manufacturer that has a known excellent reputation.

Why is it so hard to find a nice 14.5" mid-length barrel with no M203 cut.

I know ATRS can make one....Not sure if I want to spend $550 right now.

(She who shall be obeyed, is o.k with me piecing to together my upper.....little small charges on the card can slip by :))

If given the choice I would go at least 1:8 or faster. The 1:9 seems abit old fashioned and has its limits.

Semi auto and 5-10 round mag at a time, any barrel would last you a life time in this country, or at least until you change your mind.

I would have to say any Sabre Defence Industries AR barrels, if you can find them. Check with Wolverine Supplies. SDI specializes in firearm barrels as they had been producing them (M16A4s and M2HB barrels) for the US Government for some time. Although, I'm not sure of they're current disposition in regards to SDI's CEO being indicted and the company undergoing legal scrutiny.

Regardless, they make quality goods. Would still be worth the effort to look for a Sabre Defence AR barrel.

X2 I find it amusing people look at the life expediency of a barrel  unless your shooting a few hundred rounds every day for a few years its highly unlikely your going to shoot out your barrel. Most AR's are not target rifles, chances are after shooting it steady for a few years your group opens up .2 or .4 of an inch your not going to notice. If the day ever comes where we can shoot fully automatic then it could become an issue, I would go crazy:D............... if I could somehow afford to feed my AR
