lol I don't know. Mine isn't in gold. Poor sucker who bought that for $118. I got an early pre-production for under $50. One of the best upgrade for the money.
 
They are not always easy to find, I had to custom order mine from questar... Pricetag with tax and shipping was damgerously close to 100$.
Fabsports has them at a better price, but they did not have any at the time I was looking for one...
Brownells have them at an even better price, but won't ship them to Canada, something to do with manufacturer's not having the licesce.

You want one, you pay for it.

I don't know since we don't have any experience with their product. All I can say is their charging handle is great. Seems that BCM is very popular down south. Their stuff is priced right and the quality is outstanding.

You think that's bad? Take a look at some dealer's pricing! Example:

Magpul CTR (Black, Milspec) - Extremely common and popular stock.

Brownells: $85.57 for member, $94.99 for Non-member

Questar: $149.99

That's a difference of $64.42 per stock in retail prices. For me, the shipping is about the same and there is no duty or taxes. The only down side to ordering from the US, is that it takes a few weeks to arrive. If you want it quicker, you can pay a bit more and it will be at your door in about five business days...and it's still cheaper than buying from dealers here by about $30 bucks!

you are forgetting Tax though, but yeah it sucks...
 
Bcm #4 med latch is one of the nicest and simple upgrades you can do to your AR. Especially if you work the charging handle with your offhand (as a right handed shooter).

I agree though some of the prices are outrageous. I paid close to 90 bucks and I thought that was a tad high.
