Hey guys,

I come to you with curiosity. Who the heck owns one of these things? Are they any good? Is the accuracy respectable? I've shot the actual Browning take-down before and loved it. For 189.00? I'm just curious to see your opinions.

It may be cheap but I wouldn't buy it unless it had respectable accuracy.

Thoughts?

Norinco products are generally pretty decent in my opinion.

I have seen several very accurate .22's, from them but unfortunately I have not witnessed this one in person.

For $189 though you could always just sell it at a loss, without getting too upset over it.

I really wouldn't hesitate.

P.S. Your pic from your sig line is rather ironic, considering your post count. Funny though. LOL

Norinco rimfires are pretty decent, until you compare them to the guns they copy. Fit & finish are nowhere near what you'd expect from a Browning, CZ, Winchester etc. Having said that, I like NOT having to worry about a little rain...a few scratches etc. like I do with my "better" guns.

I currently own 1 Norinco .22, the JW15A "Backpacker" and it's currently my favorite field gun. Mostly a plinker/target shooter, but since my limited free time seems to fall on days when rain and/or snow are a factor, I love the thing. Now, it's a bolt-action...not a semi, so it was a small leap of faith buying it. (who could mess-up a bolt action? :) ) Your call on a semi, but as someone else has stated, not a big risk at $189.
