is there a replacement trigger or parts that i can just buy and drop in to get the trigger of my Savage Mk II TRR super light? like a few ounces light. i know i can get the factory setup down to 2.5 pounds, and maybe with some polishing down to 1.5 pounds, but what if i want to get it to 2~4 ounces? and if that level will cost me $500 or so, what are some intermediate steps (like maybe 8 ounces or a pound)?

have you looked at riflebasix dot com? They make drop ins for Savage Rimfire including the MkII. IIRC .. disclaimer also reads that a bump to the stock can make it go off. That sound pretty light to me.

And they ship to Canuckistan!

This is the method I used to get the factory AccuTrigger down to 10-12 oz.. Essentially no cost.

hmm, maybe i'll try that. so, all i need is a BIC lighter for parts? is that BIC spring supposed to be LIGHTER than stock, or HEAVIER? i can possibly find a real spring in some of the small specialty shops around here. i've got wet sandpaper which i can use to polish stuff.
