The SKS duckbill mags what is being used as a stopper at 5 rnds? I have an AR15 with 5/30 pinned using a rivet, is it the same for the plastic duckbills?
Cheers, Jesse.

is this very well fixed? ie could be removed come the zombie apocalypse?
I would also like to make it clear that I do not modify my mags to hold an illegal amount of ammo. this is just out of curiosity.

Yes, you could build a prohibited device with a saw and 15 seconds, should nazi zombies show up at your door.

I would also like to mention that nowhere in the Firearms Act is a provision made for zombie apocalypse magazine capacity. If you want more than 5 rounds to kill zombies in all legality with a semi-auto, buy a Garand. Or a 1919 and a 250 round belt.

LOL duely noted :D

Lol, in the event of a zombie apocalypse or a nuclear war and collapse of organized government, there wouldn't be anyone around to enforce the law. SKSMan has a 40 round magazine for sale in person, if you wanted to stash it away in case of emergency. I wouldn't want to be caught playing with it in a non-emergency situation, I'm sure it would cost the offender a lot of money and aggravation...

Under NO circumstance will the Federal government allow more than the allotted magazine capacity. Even under pending zombipocalypses.
Under NO circumstance are you allowed to "defend" yourself against said zombies.
You will sit tight and wait for someone to come to your assistance.

Probably not worth it to mess around with high capacity mags before doom in imminent. I'm sure a couple of 5 rounders will be able to hold the zombie hoard off long enough to modify the mags. At least, the 5 rounds would do a better job than having no guns at all because you had all of your weapons seized 2 years earlier.
