SGM Tactical Beta C 100 round Magazine Clone

So I picked up one of the Korean made Beta C Magazine clones this weekend to test it out. They come in at $140 to $160 vs. the $250 or so people get for the real Beta C Magazine.

Here's how it went.

Canstar Arms has these in stock, pinned to five of course, for the princely sum of $300. They are manufactured by KCI. They also have all of the KCI Glock mags incidentally.

Wow, I didn't know you guys couldn't use such magazines.

So you guys can't have 30 round magazines in your Tavors? Or am I completely missing the boat here on your comments about 5 rounds?

Five rounds is all we get for restricted firearms (Tavors, ARs, XCR, SCAR and etc...).

We can use it, but it has to be pinned to 5 rounds.

In Canada, all centerfire semi auto magazines have to be pinned to 5. Pistol magazines are limited to 10.

The only time we are allowed over 5 rounds in a rifle magazine is with either an M1 Garand, or in AR's with specifically designed 10 round "AR Pistol Magazines" that conviniently fit in any AR.

That said, it is still cool to see stuff like this, keep posting it up!

First off, XCR's and Tavors arent restricted

Secondly, five rounds is all we get for ANY semi automatic centerfire rifle, regardless of classification

Thirdly, you CAN legally use 10 round LAR mags in AR's

I just thought of an amazing product idea! Some one should make a fake Beta C drum unit that replaces the base plate on those 10 round pistol mags. That way you can look like a super awesome elite hero AND use 10 round mags!
