I don't know if anyone cares but I was looking at their gun rack today and they had a Voere 308 Norma Mag on the rack and a nice Rem 700 BDL 8mm Rem Mag. They were both in very good condition from what I could tell and they were both on sale.

Does this Canadian Tire have a big gun rack? I know the one in Kingston brought guns back last year and it was such a big hit that they are currently moving it up closer to the front of the store and adding more space! The Belleville store also brought in guns last year and it has been doing well there too. It is good to see guns back in Canadian Tire!

I couldn't agree more. They had quite a few guns in stock. Some used and some brand new Remingtons, Marlins, etc. I always have to go and check it out when I'm there.

At the discretion of the franchisee, I believe. Next time you see the Manager in the store, start asking questions. Maybe the owner will eventually get the hint.

New Sudbury CT may have new owners soon. The gun rack may survive - or not - I'm told by those working in the department.

Been eyeing that 308Norma and 8mmRemMag for quite a while. They are getting closer to the right price now IMO.

Our CTC owner is a dichkead, won't even issue Hunting and Fishing permits. Sells ammo but no guns. Just pellet guns and paintball $hit.

The commie tire near my place won't even sell ammo. I went looking and couldn't find any so I asked a group of employes if they sold shotgun shells and I got an immediate "no" they then huddled a little closer and stared at me all wide eyed like I was crazy!
North whitby by the way.

Of the several CTs in this town, only a couple sell ammo. No guns.

I did make use of the $10 promo gift card, and my saved up CT money, and essentially got a couple bricks of free 22 LR from CT. Thanks!

Thanks 12.6envy not to steal the thread but do they still exist ?

I drove by last weekend on my way to flaherty's and I didn't notice if it was there or not. I checked on google street view and it looks like it's a Mazda dealer now with a ct gas station beside it.

Too bad our CT wont start selling guns. The CT here wont sell ammo, pellet guns or even pellets. Its weird, when I first moved here I asked if they sold ammo and they went all wide eyed and said the owner wants nothing to do with ammo or pellets or anything that looks like a gun. Its amazing they at least have a flare gun.

Dude, you are within the sphere of influence of Toronto. Depending on the wind's direction, highly contagious douche particles have been known to drift into your area and affect people's sanity.

The Sudbury store has an educated fellow named Tom who is a member of the gun club and knows what he's talking about. Any CT thinking about getting into the gun business needs to have a guy like that on board to look after things.
