Left Hand 6.5x55 light ss rifle?

A left-handed rifle.

I am thinking I need a long range rifle but not of the bench-rest variety. A rifle to hunt with that is light and weather-proof yet has good accuracy and chambered for the 6.5x55mm. Barrel length and profile I am unsure about. Price like everything is important.

this year it will be special order to get one from Stoeger and delays maybe long .... the 6.5x55 is no more listed as a current caliber ....

took the last one blued synthetic in the same caliber ...

It won't be stainless, but, Ruger may be doing a limited run of LH M77's in 6.5x55.

Find a use LH SS long action Rem 700 (or action of your choice) in .25-06, .270, .30-06 and have it rebarreled.

I'm sure you can find a t3 lite in 6.5 if you look hard enough. I have a right hand blued and it;s a beautiful little rifle. Sure, there are nicer out there... but not for the $625 I paid for mine, scoped with a nice little B&L. The guy I bought it from sent me a message months later asking if I wanted to sell it back

I had one for sale some time back a Tika LH Blue in 6.5 and do you think some one wanted to buy it ! ended up having to trade it but got a really nice custom 270 from it Just couldnt warm up to all the plastic

if not done via stoeger i doubt you ll get before 9-12 months ....

Nooooo...sayyyy it ain't so!! I Just talked to him yesterday about it!... He's gonna check his orders that are tricklin in from the shot show. Said he may have a 65 and if so, he'll do a stock swap for me!!...Funny thing is...I had the SOB in my hands last year!! What a beauty!...BUTTTTTT.....I opted for an 8 twist T-3 Stainless Varmint in 223. Can't complain too much I guess..I'm havin fun killin paper every chance I get. I buy the shoot n see gophers and stick em on to it..reminds me of AB

we ve done the booking for the 2011 year for Stoeger and none of the 6,5x55 except the blued lite was shown as current line. and this was a really special item.

that s mean a special order and nothing else.

i ve taken the last swedish in lh available on stock so unless a store have in stock there will the delay wait ...

try to get a sako finnligth in 300 win mag ???!!!

Tikka T3 SS is a good lightweight rifle. Really accurate too. I have one in .308Win.

ThankX medvedqc !!...I'm gonna get on his arse today and see IF and WHEN this will EVER happen!!...I guess...If I gotta go blued...so be it...won't be the END of the world....I'll just be teetering on the edge that's all!!
Over the last 10 yrs I had 3 Swede's..all 96's, 1 is a Husqy...still got the Husq...the old thing has been modified some...bolt safety etc...but is shoots like a DREAM!!...factory blue box fed 140...cloverleafs.@ 100 yds..handloaded 120 Nos/b/tips...cloverleafs..@ 100yds..like..almost nooooo recoil at all...actually my wife and 12 yr old daughter shoot it quite well, and are very comfortable with it!! The wife got her first deer ever last year...she's hooked. I just rebuilt my 243 Stevens 200 for her..put a thumbhole Boyds on it, bedded it, added..a Basix trigger..waitin for a custom bolt body and tactical bolt handle..BUTTTTT..being the loving, caring and doting husband I am, I'd love to get...**cough**... me......**a-hemmm**....I...I..I...mean" HER" a NEW 6.5...I have a S/S Tikka T3 Varmint 223 now and love it soooo...seems logical to add to the family. hmmmmm...fella may HAVE to decide differently on a new set-up.....the worry and fraught we go thru to keep the women happy...I tell ya!

You're absolutely right Med...Stoeger doesn't have any in inventory...not stainless anyways!! ...Dealer was positive he had 2 of em out back...been lookin for 2 days...heh...don't look good for me for getting one in June...I checked a lot of places out today on line...from Bartons in GP to Epps in Ont for the stainless ones....NAA-DAA!!...found a few blued ones tho
