Came across this little gem of a stock. Changes a 10/22 to an M1 Carbine look alike. Drop in fit, nicely finished European Beech with a nicely stained colour. Handguard bolts on the top and there is a slot to use the factory sight. I prefer to use the aftermarket - apparently, there is another HG that will not have the front site slot (?)

The HG also has a black spacer that gives it the look of the orig bolt. For a stand off scale, it is quite a neat set up.

The fixed sights are a decent copy of the M1 (well kind of). The front site just slides on the factory sight after you remove the blade. Tightens with that allen screw and is a very nice solid lockup. Unfortunately, the rear site is not really adjustable but has two settings - near which is pretty close to 45yds, and far which is pretty much 100yds.

It did shoot quite a bit right for me with Win 333 ammo but I didn't see if the rear was drift adjustable - looks like it might be.

The sight picture is authentic and it was a hoot to plink with. I think this stock would be ideal for a 'hockey stick' mag mod or a glue in to simulate the carbines stick mag.

The front band has a nice swivel and it is available with a period looking sling and oiler kit.

Length of pull is the same as the factory 10/22 stock so some may find it short but there are extensions. The drop in the stock makes using the open sights a breeze.

I like how it looks with the new 10/22 matte finish.

A nice change of pace from the 'tacticool' 10/22's but I am still chomping to get the Promag marauder kit.

Very nice! where did you find that! I saw them on Ebay a while ago for $199, I thought just a bit to much plus they would not ship to us......

Looks very nice, not much of a wood guy, the G36 stock is much more appealing to me, but this just caught my eye. But how does it look with a banana mag?

I have one for sale in the EE. Buy it up peoples, otherwise I'll be forced to build it and add it to my collection of 10/22's that don't get used enough....:D
