2011 CGN Saskatchewan gopher shoot. Thanks to everyone for coming!

Anyone able to comment on the driving distance to "the farm" from the GVRD BC?

Since I have made that drive more times than I can count I can tell you it would take anywhere between 18-24hrs depending on traffic, road construction, the coq, rush hour in Van through Abbotsford. Oh & how fast you drive.

Grrr.... we've had 2 days of above zero temperatures and the snow is still hip-deep here. With all the water we've had plus the melt this spring, I'd be surprised if the darn prairie rats aren't drowned out by May.

got a call from my gunsmith on friday, my once shot out 223 Tikka now sports a new 28" pacnor stainless super varmint in 223 AI, just have to work up a load. still have to find loads for the .222 and 25-20 as well, could be a busy spring....

Loading 36 gr v-max for the .223 as well. Don't know how they'll perform, but give it a shot anyway. I always have the .17 and .22 for backup. Oh, and the 12 guage :)

Pretty much done reloading for this season;)

How bout I bring a couple 45 gal black plastic barrels and hope there's enough sun to heat the water?

if i drive my dodge out i have a built in shower system under the hood, just need a water source to hook up to ;) if i drive my jeep........ no dice :D

I brought one of those camp showers last year. Worked good, but I was too impatient to let it warm up enough. (nevermind the lack of sunshine) There was a couple of us that took advantage of a luke-warm shower.
