When I was in high school I bought a full case of the "baseball" type dummies and a full case of the "pineapple" type dummies. I was reselling them to other students and makiing a couple of bucks each. The two cases also worked well as weight for the back of my car in the winter. I have the distinct feeling that this would not go over well in most high schools today.

Many years ago, a local milsurp store offered discount on merchandise to struggling students with ID. So I used my student card to get 10% off on 2 pineapple dummy grenades.

I suspect you are looking at the no36M grenades, or some of the other mills bombs. They are collectible, and pretty much cost a fortune every where.
