Just picked this one up on the EE. in 44 mag. Will keep my 30-30 trapper company! Looks good!

However, so far, nobody has posted any images of what might truly be called a "slut"......

So, for your consideration, I now present this "fallen angel" -

It is a Model 1894 Winchester in .30WCF, manufactured in 1897 (serial number 93721) ......

Your initial reaction to the above small picture might be "So what's wrong with that?"



But now take a look at what some miserable, heartless pimp has done to such a potential beauty ......

I keep her around because I do hope to "get her into a rehabilitation program" someday, and turn her back into a sweet thing that anyone would be proud to take home and introduce to his gunrack ......

Whomever did that ought to have his ass removed.
That's a damn shame.

Here's my first deer/doe with my first big game rifle, a 63' win 94 30-30.

1947 Marlin Model 36 in 30-30...24" barrel with half length mag tube.
Plan to try it out for deer this coming season.

Very nice. I think that's the first 1888 I've seen. The closest I have to that is my Marlin 1894, in 44-40. It's the first centerfire rifle I ever shot and acquired it when it came available for that reason.
