ELCAN M145 Pricing Question

Hey all,

Looking at a used ELCAN M145 scope, but unsure if it's a good deal or not at $750. What would you consider to be a fair price for a used one of these in reasonably good shape?

I prefer the look of the Trijicon scopes, and at that price, I'm pretty close to getting the TA31 I really want....

Not really other then the model number. There is quite a few options for this particular scope.

Hmmm....I think it's the M249 reticle, which is blended 5.56/7.62, whatever that means.

They seem to cost almost twice what this guy is asking new from what I can see on Google, but it's still a lot of money to drop on a scope. Would just be nice to know that if I get it, and don't like it, I can make my money back (or even make a few bucks on it if this is a bargain).

I've been doing some reading around, and the general consensus seems to be that it's a great optic, will work fine on an AR, but is way bigger and heavier than the Trijicon, and can be tough to resell, due to a generally low demand.

That in mind, I think I'll either stick with what I have, or hold out until I see the right deal on a Trijicon.
