This isn't another thread about where to find it.

I was digging through some stuff and came across a sealed 300 round spam can of 303Brit in bandoleers, on chargers. There is also another full bandoleer and another with 40 rounds in it, all on chargers. The two spare chargers from the missing rounds, are in the empty pouch. The bandoleers are heavy canvas cloth.

I am taking these to Chilliwack to sell. I was thinking $50, for the full bandoleer, $40, for the partial bandoleer and $400 for the full unopened spam can.

I would send pics but I'm computer challenged and no matter how often I sign up with photo bucket or the like, I can't seem to navigate their systems.

The ammunition, is all dated 1948 and 1949

I will also have 100 rounds of FNM 7.92x57, 200gn made in 72. Bright and shiney. It has been put into bags of 20 for $20/bag.

I would like a comment on the pricing if you can keep it polite.:)

I think $400 or 300 rounds might be a bit too high. It seems to go for a buck a round pretty routinely. But in the spam can maybe.

7.92 $20 for 20 is good.

$1 a round for 303 surplus is probably the max considering it's probably not reloadable brass & is likely corrosive. The spam can & the bandoliers give it a cool factor but.......

Thanks guys, I appreciate the input. I know I'm at the upper range but 303 Brit in original sealed spam cans and in proper chargers in bandoleers should bring a premium.

Last I saw, the bandoleers were going for $5-10 each and the chargers were a buck apiece. Overall, it is not to bad a deal.

Hope to see you folks in Chilliwack on the weekend.

In the can, I'm not sure but I suspect it's Radway Green The lables aren't in the best of condition and they were applied before the black paint went on. The ammo in the bandoleers is all Radway Green.

The lables are printed in Green Ink on white

303 INCH Mk

I.S.A.A.

The can is stamped on each end,
H52 MK2
HB&S 1945

I once got a full bandoiler for a tenner. I was at a gun show and a dealer had a SMLE that someone had bought and they left the ammo it came with behind. :) I wish I had known they were worth money as I shot all the ammo tossed the bandoiler and sold the strippers for a few bucks.
