Having an SKS and an M4 I've been doing a pretty good job ignoring CZ rifles, but im getting more interested in them lately, but i need some info on the differences between these models. So 858's are non restricted (19in barrel) and 58's are restricted? Do all 858's have a non chrome lined bore? While 58's are chrome lined? What about finish: I'm really not a fan of the gray paint look...which gun has that? Do any of them come in black/blued? What I'd really like is a non restricted chrome lined AK look alike with a black non paint finish. Is there such a gun?

Like you said, cz858 with 19in barrel are non restricted and vz 58 with shorter barrel are restricted. All cz 858 have non chrome bore except the vz58l, 19 in barrel chromed, somes where sold years back but now only found on the EE when they show up. The factory paint is pretty tough, i have sent mine to be Tenifer processed, resulting in a rust resistant flat black finish. I'm not sure if vz or cz can be found factory parkerized or blued, maybe the cz858 in .223 are blued but i'm not sure, somes fellows will clear this up.
