Best scope with highest x for $1200?

You ad a lot of weight and bulk with a scope as big as the 10-50x60. Are you shooting F class?

Just my opinion of course but the Sightron you currently have and the PST you have for sale would be great scopes for both your tikka tac and your BA. I've shot to 500 yards with a 4 power scope with no issue. Magnification isn't everything.
 
well the BA is already over 15lbs with no scope so I don't think it matters lol. I might just buy the 24x version of the PSt as the glass is supposed to be better than 16x

interesting. i've got the same SIIB SS coming in on monday. more interesting is that you were the one who got me thinking about Vortex the most, and yet here we are both buying Sightrons... :p

for $1200, i think the SIII 10-50x60 is it.
 
I might talk myself into a 24x PST as the glass is better than 16x and the turrets and illumination is are better than sightron IMO.. The PST is sold now, and if I sell my spotting scope I can afford the 10-50, if not I will get a 24x PST which feels way more solid than the Sightron and the glass of the 24x should be on par with my SIIBS..
