I made my first reloads yesterday and can't wait to get a good day to go to the range and try them out to see which load works the best, it's going to be very exciting knowing that I'm shooting ammo that I made myself. CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

Thanks I hope it goes well for you also, I'm hoping to hit the perfect load for my rifles so I still may have some tinkering to do. Competitions will soon start at our club so I hope to have it down pat by then. God luck, keep it in the red.
 
Welcome to the wonderful world of reloading. Now comes the fun part as there are more gadgets and many different powder/bullet combinationsto try. Have fun and play safe, any problems ask away. Lots of experience on this site to draw from.
 
Welcome to an immensely satisfying and enriching hobby guys! Aaah, I remember the thrill and exhilaration of taking my first reloads to the range. They were .38spl. Turned out the bullets were seated way too far out and were designed for 9mm. Two lessons learned, right off the bat.

That was only three years ago this month, feels a lifetime away. Even snapped pics, haha

Shot my first reloads on Sunday, my third and final group of 5 for my 300 savage 99 were all with in 1" . I loaded the same receipe plus I tweeked it a bit just to see what happens. Good luck with yours.
 
Can't wait

I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas, I'm just waiting for some good weather a little warmer and less windy, I find myself watching the forcast every evening and getting very grumpy when it calls for rain or snow again. JUST ONE NICE DAY, PLEASE, THAT"S ALL I ASK.
