What seasons are open now in Sask for hunting.Few locals gone out they say to hunt and I am being asked what is open this time of year by my Mrs who is friends with their ladies.. :confused:??

Help me out here.:( The rare eastern cougar season never closes I know that but I need more..

Right now in Sask. one could hunt varmints, including any early gophers that may be poking their nose out, a few non-protected birds like magpies and pigeons, ( crows will show up soon) a few fur bearers if they are declared an nuisance in the local municipality - mainly beaver and coyote ( not certain about coyote) Rabbits are open all year. Wild boars have been declared an invasive species and there is no season or limit - if you can find some.

Thanks for the feedback. I didnot think there was much open. OH boy I will handle this one very carefully.
