I'd buy one if you could get them without the AR-looking forend...standard AK handguards, gas tube/block and sights would be a winner for me. Are they blowback?

That's exactly what I was thinking! Either classic wood or even a synthetic stock set, not the 'new' fancy railed handguards. They looked out of place... They would have been the FIRST thing I swapped out, but with the new type forend, 'would' they fit???

That may be a buy-it-and-try-it gamble I think, really cant see whats underneath that railed forend. Its also missing the FSB and wears what looks like a vortex FH. From the front of the reciever back it looks great, but the front half looks like Vladimir Putin dressed in G-unit clothing...like the kids at the mall :ninja:
Your AK-74 looked great, but I'm a bigger fan of the original AK-47, Chemist if you could get them made true to an original, I think they'd sell alot more. Just my opinion.

I'm seriously interested in the Izhmash built AK-74 basedYunker model. It looks like the real thing. The solid stock model (like the one in the original post) is the one I'll go for.
When do you expect to receive them?

ETA end of July. Ordred 6 models/versions: folding solid stock, folding frame stock, short barrel, long barrel, plastic handguards, wood handguards.
