Who is interested in attending it?

No pistols, just the VZ.

Course will be run by OSTS instructor Earl Green.

On hand will be myself, Dave from Neit Arms and possible Jeff from North Eastern Arms to provide anything in the way of gear, parts, ammo etc. that you may require.

First course will run this spring.

Send an email to training@oneshottactical.com to let us know that you are interested.

Where is the range that this is to be held at?

I assume by the mention of deciding on gear that this is dedicated to users who are familiar with the system, but would not by any stretch be called experts? (Like myself. :))

Grenville is our home base right now but we will travel. If you have a range and 12 shooters we will run a course. This is for any caliber of shooter. We have had advanced shooters shoot beside beginners on some courses and everyone always learns something.

Definetly interested, but it is a 4 hour drive for me so I would need to have a solid date for it to get up there in time.

Do you have a link on what will be covered during the course? Round count, cost, shooting disciplines covered, etc?

I am very, very interested....

I did a Black Badge course with Earl about two years ago. He was top notch then, he is probably even better now.

Hi Kevin, this course will cover basic to advanced skills and we operate on a crawl, walk, run basis. You certainly don't need to be an expert, all you need is an interest in learning a way to operate your rifle more accurately, more efficiently and more..... funnly??? :D

We'll be covering basic marksmanship, fundamentals of shooting, vz/cz specific control manipulation, positional shooting, familiarity with YOUR equipment, mag changes, speed shooting, multiple target engagements, shooting on the move, etc. You'll need about 400 rounds for the day, bring 500 to be safe. You'll also need eye and eye protection, at least 4 mags, mag holders of some kind (I've had guys actually use the leather Czech ones with minimal issues), clothing for inclement weather, snacks if you prefer and beer money for after the day!

We will have parts and equipment there to pimp your gun and yourself but our emphasis will be safe, fun and accurate shooting.

We are also more than willing to come over your way. If you have a few guys and know of a range where we can do it, I'm all ears. We would need a minimum of 6 max of 12 shooters.

Only two questions...

When..

Where....

I was thinking the first one would be 21 or 22 May at Grenville or Trenton Fish and Game if we can get them to let us!

Dang it, that's the same weekend as my grad for RMC. Hopefully you'll have other dates for the course throughout the summer. I'd love to learn a few tricks to operate my 858 more effectively.

We most certainly will! When my real job stops interfering with my training one I'll get some dates out to everyone! I should be able to have dates by Monday!

I'd be in for sure if its somewhere in Alberta. Going to have to miss Tactical Response in Peace River, so something to fill the void would be much appreciated.
