I've been searching and can't find an answer. Can you get a trader rating from buying a firearm from a site sponsor?

yes you can, send him a trade rating yourself and ask him to send you one.

You can get a trader rating from any member of the site, at any time....I could give you one right now.

I do not think I have ever got a rating from a dealer here even though I gave them one, but I am guessing they have other things to do then play on here.

Yes, you can receive trader rating from site sponsors. Sometimes they are busy or forget and a quick PM will do the trick.

I stand corrected, after just checking my own trader rating, I now see I have gotten some feed back from about 50% of dealers I have dealt with.

Why is it that a person who pays right away is always the last to receive a trader rating? I've had this happen lots.

It's not just dealers . There are regular CGN members who will not return a rating on a deal even after you send them one and ask for the courtesy of one in return

I bought mine in person from a site sponsor, I didn't want to sound like a retard at the counter by saying "I'll take it, as long as you go on cgn and give me a trader rating". Once my shotgun is in hand I'll send the owner a pm and I'm sure he'll do it.

It is possible to give a negative rating, but most people are honest and don't get them.
