I asked at their booth when we were in Vegas if there was any chance they were coming to Canada.
The company president said "I guess we can reveal that now." "Yes, negotiations are about complete".

Well, they sent me an email today, and have released the name of the Canadian distributor.

They import Uberti firearms, built to their specifications. From what I saw, these are not your average Uberti. Very very nice stuff.
They also have tuned actions, including, at least in the USA, tuned revolvers. Things like the short stroke '73 you've been pining for.

Like pretty much everyone else, they are experimenting with black guns, and also had a 1911 handgun on display in Vegas. I don't see that on the Canadian site yet, but watch for it.

I've bought 6 or 8 guns from Country classics over the years and have been very pleased with all my dealings with them. A 3 month wait from them is better than a 18 month wait from Stoeger for the same gun. They are the most active and generous corporate donation sponsors to Cowboy shooting in western Canada that I know of.

Aren't they just rebranded Ubertis?

I read where they are supposed to be cleaned up for Cimmaron or at least asembed for them with tighter controls. Not sure if that is true or not. I do know they are certainly proud of their work given what they want for them over what you pay for a Rossi.

Take Care
