Just watched this video of the AA-12 Shotty. This thing is frigging amazing.Would not want to be on the wrong end of a monster like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4ebtj1jR7c

Hi. There's nothing new about FA shotguns. The Atchisson(blowback operation) has been around since the early 70's. That one is just a newer version. Shotguns aren't legal for use in warfare anyway.

This is hardly new. There are three others I can think of: Pancor Jackhammer, USAS-12 and the HK CAWS.

And I wouldn't want to be caught on the end of a shotgun PERIOD!

Shotguns aren't legal for use in warfare anyway.

The Germans tried that argument in WWI, but that didn't stop the deployment/use of the Winchester M1897 trench gun and later on, the Browning A5 by by some British troops.

Link made live, you're welcome.

What the hell is "titanium alloy heavy shot"? (at 1:56)
The beauty of titanium is that it is light, not heavy.

The gun looks similar, but not identical to the USAS-12.
Somebody had a USAS-12 at a full auto shoot in Albany, OR quite a few years ago. My friend and I made a deal with him, for us to use our ammo in his gun. We bought 400 rounds each at Target just for the occasion!
As I was getting ready to burn a full drum, they called for a cease-fire to reset targets. Out came a long cord with about 20 or so balloons attached. When we resumed, I damn near cleared out the entire row of balloons with one drum! Good times. :D
